An amazing Thru paddle down the Ohio River, from its headwaters in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, to its confluence with the upper and lower Mississippi River at Cairo Illinois... Traveling 333 leagues along the major watershed of the NE of THE BASIN.

The Ohio River begins with rolling hills and beautiful bluffs. Mid-way down river the bluffs mellow out and by the last third of the river is mostly flat with plenty of farm land.   A very industrial river, with many power-plants, factories, and barges. .  I found many great people and places along the way...
